Walk together. Make a difference together.
The Vienna Climate Run brings movement and meaningful climate action together. It is not about speed or athletic performance, but about what we can achieve collectively—because every step counts. For every kilometre completed, 1 m² of forest is protected, either in Austria or in the Costa Rican rainforest. In addition, €10 from every registration supports a social climate-protection project run by Caritas and BOKU University in South Sudan.

Under the motto “150 minutes, 1.5 hours or 50 minutes for climate action,” participants can choose to run, Nordic walk or simply walk. The flexible lap format means that everyone can take part at their own pace and for as long as it feels good.
New this year: a dedicated walking slot with walk4future®
From 12:55 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., walk4future® founder Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey will lead a special walking slot. It offers an accessible and enjoyable way to get moving, connect with others and make a visible statement for a more sustainable future. Throughout the event, participants can look forward to professional timing, refreshments, a DJ, a goody bag, networking opportunities with CEOs and public figures, a raffle, and a wide range of exhibitors in the Climate Village—including a stand powered by walk4future®.
