The 10th Austrian World Summit, the @schwarzeneggerclimate initiative by @schwarzenegger, has unfortunately fallen short of expectations. Even though „Arnie“ will always remain our motivational hero.
What was actually exciting was the afternoon program – unfortunately too short – which was dedicated to the next generation of Changemakers. And lo and behold: they were all women – from all over the world, they reported on their innovative projects with which they are really making a difference instead of just talking.
It increasingly seems to be the case: sustainability, in whatever area, is a woman’s domain. It would be about time to acknowledge this in the power structures as well. But that’s another topic…
One thing applies to all of us: do more, talk less.
