The 1st Vienna Style Walk has not only been a shopping tour with three guides but it was the launch of a new concept with the aim to discover local, sustainable fashion businesses while enjoying walking together. The concept is registered as a European Union trademark under the name of “WALK’N SHOP TOURS”.

A group of 10 people guided by Vienna expert and DJ, Eugene Quinn, Model & Style Icon, Lou-Anne Gleissenebner, and Sustainability Explorer, Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey, spent four hours discovering
- the home of the first sustainable Viennese Jeans, Doktor Jeans
- the wonderworld of Amba & Friends, with handmade and upcycled products amongst a variety of treasures
- the refined second hand boutique Meins Deins
- the concept store Uppers&Downers that merges the world of art and (not only second hand) fashion
- African inspired upcycling, MysticLink
There was even time to take a break at Café Namenlos.
Eugene delighted with his spectacular knowledge of all the little details about the streets we walked and buildings along the way, that you usually aren’t told.
The spirit was high and a sense of generosity and abundance was tangible. This is, what we wanted. This is, what we need, in a time where anxiety and struggle often prevaile in the stories we hear and tell each other.
This first Vienna Style Walk was what we want to build upon.
