Is walk4future® a membership community?
The first way to join our community is by subscribing to our regular updates. Like that you make sure you have all the info to join our challenges and events and thus be part of the change.
In which countries do you operate?
We are operating worldwide: online and offline.
- You can join our challenges from wherever you are and connect during the challenges with the community online on the webpage or Instagram to contribute to our common success.
- You can join our local in-person events and get to know new people, make friends and drive change together

Why walking?
- helps to clear your mind
- allows you to connect with yourself
- is the easiest way to keep fit
- reduces stress
So, walking helps you to keep close to what really matters. More clarity leads to better decisions. And if you feel fit, you have more energy to live according to your decisions.
But also: the most powerful, truthful impression we get from someone else is how that person walks (posture/energy) and how that person dresses (shape/ status/ values).
This is why we chose to combine walking and fashion to build a true movement. How we walk and how we dress is the easiest and at the same time most powerful way to express ourselves.
And walk4future® is all about building a community of self-confident, powerful individuals.
Who is walk4future®?
walk4future® has been started by Martina, but is a community of like-minded individuals: a growing network of community leaders and ambassadors and YOU! People like you who want to make a change by changing little things in their own lives into the better direction.
Why 25%?
25% is not a magic number.
It is a well-documented threshold observed in multiple studies on social norm change, especially in research by network scientist Damon Centola.
It represents the point at which minority influence becomes self-sustaining.
How do we walk towards 25%?
With our challenges and events we create visible new behaviors. Only if new behaviors are visible and consistently displaid, they pay into the 25%.
Fashion, mobility, and consumption are highly social. When enough people visibly choose differently, perceptions of what is “normal” shift.
That’s why walk4future® focuses on walking and visible consumption pauses.
Is this just symbolic or does it create real impact?
It is symbolic AND it creates real impact.
By visibly changing your behavior, you become a role model in your own community, no matter how small or big your community is. If If you have 4 freinds and one of them changed his/her behavior because of you, you have already reach 25% in your community. Now think, if all of us do that with their circle of friends.
Yes, it spreads like word of mouth – only that you don’t need to speak. You just need to show through your own actions.
It’s really easy and at the same time really effective.
Like walking: it’s really easy and it’s extremely effective when it comes to body-mind-spirit-health.

We track: – number of active participants – kilometers walked – fashion consumption paused (items or value)
