Global Recycling Day

Global Recycling Day is an annual event on March 18th that raises awareness about recycling’s crucial role in protecting the planet, conserving resources, and fighting climate change, encouraging individuals, businesses, and governments to embrace the circular economy and reduce waste. Organized by the Global Recycling Foundation, it promotes sustainability by highlighting how recyclables are the “Seventh Resource” and aims to reduce pollution by emphasizing reuse and recycling over landfill. 

This day takes place during the walk4future® walk&save March challenge and we will certainly not miss the opportunity for some activities or awareness raising. As always, be sure to register for updates to be part of it.
