THE MISSION

Raise AWARENESS for
  1. better ways of consumption. It is possible to choose fashionable, modern pieces, produced fair and sustainably, without emptying ones pockets.
  2. the beneficial health results of walking. It helps to ground oneself, to clear the mind, to connect to nature and the people around and not the least to oneself, ones dreams, ambitions and purpose in life.
Create a MOVEMENT through
  1. walking together, virtually and/or in reality: Nothing is as beneficial as walking every day, five minutes or an hour doesn’t matter. Important is to move to stay mentaly and physically fit. This is what we do.
  2. evolving together through better life choices: conscious decision making, whether it is consumption or career choices is the most important tool for a happy life. That is what we learn.
INVEST BETTER

walk4future encourages you to SPEND LESS on things you do not need and INVEST MORE in things and ideas you want to grow.

Money is power and where we put it, is OUR PERSONAL POWER.

Where to invest your power:

  1. IN YOURSELF: learn and grow as a human being.
  2. In BETTER PRODUCTS : produced ethically, fair and responsibly

Less is more!
I worked in the clothing industry for decades, worldwide, so I know the industry very well. That's why it's a personal concern of mine to raise awareness of the enormous overproduction and senseless overconsumption.
Additionally, my 18-year-old daughter consciously chooses second-hand clothing to reduce the production of new clothes.

Alexandra Biron von CurlandDesigner at www.vonbiron.com

At VONBRION, we are committed to 'Re-Think Fashion' by conserving resources and promoting conscious consumption with our collection. In the live talk during walk4future season 1, we had an inspiring conversation with Martina in which we discussed that fashion is not just an expression of style, but also brings with it responsibility. Only together can we revolutionize the way we perceive and consume fashion.

If your life is like a rollercoaster and you feel like no one is putting the brakes on, then you should press the reset button yourself! I did so in 2020, running became my motto. Body and mind become one with nature, the feeling of vitality and limitless freedom cleanses the body!
walk4future was another incentive for me to treat my body and the environment with care and attention. Because we only live once on this beautiful blue planet!

Walk4Future dynamically directed our attention in everyday life towards sustainable, fairly produced slow fashion. It enriched us with the awareness of being able to make decisions as "powerful consumers" and strengthened our individual attitude to counteract the system of the throwaway society, the exploitation of people and nature and the profit-driven fast pace of life, especially in the "world of clothes".

Martina Wiltschko-HölzlDesigner at www.taminas-shop.at

As a designer of sustainable, one-of-a-kind pieces, the project immediately appealed to me because each of us is a unique personality and fast fashion makes us all the same. walk4future highlights the uniqueness of each individual. That's why I'm involved.

Jenny HitzAuthor at walk4future

For me, walking is a particular challenge because I have difficulty with it due to a physical disability. walk4future encouraged me to go for more walks, even longer distances, despite my disability! This helped me rediscover what I am capable of and how much strength I have!
Additionally, immersing myself into nature led me to try out natural products and learn to love them!

Manuela & Claus BretschneiderBREDDY'S

The walk4future embodies exactly the values that we live by: mindfulness, responsibility and sustainability. That is why we supported this inspiring project with full conviction. As a sustainable brand, we want to show that every step counts - for our planet and a future worth living.

Barbara Klinka-GhezzoCEO CONFARE #CIOSUMMIT #CIOAWARD

How can we stand up to consumerism and mass production? With two things: attitude and actionism!
As an entrepreneur who drives change myself, I know that we find it easier to gain courage when we see from other examples that it works! And walk4future shows what each and every one of us can achieve!

Nadine SchratzbergerFounder & CEO, www.montreet.net

I supported walk4future because sustainability and a future worth living for all of us are core values for me. With its commitment, walk4future inspires many people to actively make a change - a concern that also drives MONTREET, my sustainable sports wear company.

As a manufacturer of innovative cooling textiles, it is important for us to
communicate awareness of ecological challenges.
The Walk4Future to Paris, the site of the Paris Climate Agreement
and also the location of the fashion show
offered us the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to a sustainable future, to exchange ideas with like-minded people and to strengthen our sustainability goals.

Sustainability requires more than actions: it needs people who inspire and raise awareness. With her walk4future, Martina shows that every step counts. Sustainable fashion is not just a trend, but an urgently needed step for our future. And it is precisely this attitude that unites us: the conviction that sustainable fashion is not only possible, but necessary - for people and our planet.

Gottfried BirklbauerDesigner

Martina wanted to set an example for sustainable fashion on the long journey from Vienna to Paris. With every step she wants to raise awareness of fairly produced clothing and inspire people to deal with fashion responsibly. Thank you for allowing me to accompany you a little part of the way!

A lot has been achieved, but the movement is growing and
