SUMMARY:VIENNA Climate Run 26: WALK with us and WIN!
DESCRIPTION:Walk together. Make a difference together.\nThe Vienna Climate Run brings movement and meaningful climate action together. It is not about speed or athletic performance\, but about what we can achieve collectively—because every step counts. For every kilometre completed\, 1 m² of forest is protected\, either in Austria or in the Costa Rican rainforest. In addition\, €10 from every registration supports a social climate-protection project run by Caritas and BOKU University in South Sudan. \nWhen & Where?\nSeptember 26\, 2026 | Prater Hauptallee\, near Praterfee\nUnder the motto “150 minutes\, 1.5 hours or 50 minutes for climate action\,” participants can choose to run\, Nordic walk or simply walk. The flexible lap format means that everyone can take part at their own pace and for as long as it feels good. \nNew this year: a dedicated walking slot with walk4future®\nFrom 12:55 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.\, walk4future® founder Martina Gleissenebner-Teskey will lead a special walking slot. It offers an accessible and enjoyable way to get moving\, connect with others and make a visible statement for a more sustainable future. Throughout the event\, participants can look forward to professional timing\, refreshments\, a DJ\, a goody bag\, networking opportunities with CEOs and public figures\, a raffle\, and a wide range of exhibitors in the Climate Village—including a stand powered by walk4future®. \nExclusive benefit for walk&change Challenge participants: 10% off\nMembers of the walk&change Challenge Impact Squad will receive an exclusive 10% discount code directly by email. Not part of the Challenge yet? Register now and become part of a community that turns everyday movement and conscious choices into collective impact. \nAnd there is more: everyone taking part in both the walk&change Challenge and the Vienna Climate Run can collect a small surprise at the walk4future® booth on the day. \nJoin us\, register now and let’s walk for change—together. \n\n  \n  The participation of walk4future® in the VCR is supported by our event partner iSANO\, the nutritional innovation from Switzerland.

SUMMARY:World Environment Day
DESCRIPTION:World Environment Day 2026 will rally the world around the urgency of climate action. With rising temperatures\, collapsing ecosystems\, and disruptive weather extremes\, humanity stands at a tipping point. But we are not powerless. \nThe 2026 theme underscores that climate action is not just about reducing carbon emissions—it is about rethinking the systems that power our economies and repairing our relationship with the climate. By doing so\, we can secure a safer\, healthier\, and more just future for all. \nThis is also what connects walk4future® – REthink Fashion to this special day: we are all about systems change. Stay tuned for our collective actions to honor this day.  \n

SUMMARY:Earth Day
DESCRIPTION:Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22\, 1970\, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally through earthday.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. \nTwo years ago\, walk4future® started in connection with the Earth Day on 21 April 24. SUMMARY:World Water Day
DESCRIPTION:World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance held on March 22 to raise awareness about the global water crisis and inspire action towards achieving sustainable water and sanitation for all by 2030 (Sustainable Development Goal 6) \nThe 2026 theme is “Save our Galciers” and even though it seems not directly connected to fashion\, we will certainly not miss the opportunity for some activities or awareness raising. \n“Saving the Galciers” means being aware of our human impact on the planet – be it where and how we move (emitting more or less toxins into the atmosphere)\, be it how much of the earths’ resources\, including water\, we use \nIt is all connected. \n
